Dr. Seth Pachman, PT, DPT, ATC

Dr. Seth Pachman founded Positive Sports Physical Therapy with a simple mission: to provide the same level of care typically reserved for elite athletes to everyone who walks through the door. After suffering a significant knee injury in high school, Seth experienced firsthand the impact that great rehabilitation can have on a person's life. The ability to return to the activities he loved inspired him to pursue a career in sports medicine and help others earn that same second chance.

Seth earned both his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training degrees from Quinnipiac University. Throughout his education and professional career, he trained and worked in some of the nation's premier Division I athletic programs, including Stanford, Michigan, Wyoming, and Yale. These experiences shaped his approach to rehabilitation and performance, exposing him to high-level athletes and the systems used to keep them healthy, resilient, and performing at their best.

Over the past decade, Seth has built a reputation as one of the leading sports physical therapists in the Queens and Nassau County area. He has worked with athletes from the NBA, NFL, UFC, the Italian National Softball Team, and countless Division I, II, and III collegiate athletes. While his experience includes elite competitors at the highest levels of sport, his philosophy is simple: every patient deserves to be treated like a Division I athlete. Whether you're preparing for a championship season, training for your first 5K, or simply trying to stay active and pain-free, Seth believes you deserve the same level of attention, expertise, and individualized care.

As Founder and Clinical Director of Positive Sports Physical Therapy, Seth oversees the clinic's vision, treatment philosophy, and commitment to excellence. He remains actively involved in patient care, mentorship, and the continued growth of the practice. His goal is to help every patient move better, perform better, and return to the activities that matter most to them with confidence.
